Kaiser seeks 11% rate increase
Advertiser Staff
Kaiser Permanente Hawaii asked the state this week to approve an 11 percent rate increase for healthcare premiums that would affect 210,000 of its 235,000 members next year. The higher rates would apply to about 7,000 businesses. Rising healthcare costs, clinic openings and other capital plans prompted the request before the state's Insurance Division. Kaiser was approved for an 11.7 percent rate increase for this year.
