Man killed in Maui crash identified

Maui police have identified a man killed in head-on collision late Saturday as Jayson K. Domingo, 22.

Police said he was driving a white 1995 Honda south on Honoapi'ilani Highway in Ma'alaea shortly after 10 p.m. when he crossed the center line and collided with a silver Hyundai, which was headed north.

The woman driving the Hyundai was treated for minor injuries at Maui Memorial Medical Center.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, police said.

It was not known if speed, drugs or alcohol were factors.
