Honolulu-based Pacific LightNet Communications yesterday introduced a wireless broadband Internet access service in downtown Kailua, Kona, and the Kaloko Business Park. The service is available up to 15 miles from those wireless access points for $19.95 for the first three months and $39.95 thereafter. That promotional offer is good through August and excludes a $300 site assessment and equipment installation cost. A two-year service contract is required.
The company said it plans to rollout the service along the Saddle Road and in Hilo and upgrade service in the Kohala and Kawaihae areas.
