She did the male part and he the female, and they attempted to recreate that version, to the delight of a crowd that included Gabe Baltazar, Nephi Hannemann and Mufi Hannemann. Restaurateur Marilyn Gardner, longtime owner of the Kobe Steak House, was in town recently from her Scottsdale, Ariz., base, and she made a beeline not only to her own restaurant on Ala Moana but to the Hilton Hawaiian Village lounge, where Jerry Santos & Olomana perform. "I always take in the last set of Olomana when I'm in town," said Gardner, who recalls seeing the group at the Palm Court of the downtown Blaisdell Hotel. ...
