If you like pro wrestling, this is the matchup you want to see

A wrestling fan's dream come true happens at 7 tonight at the Blaisdell Arena. Billed as "Battle Hawaii 2004," the show has the unusual mix of Japanese, World Wrestling Entertainment and independent wrestlers, including a reunion of The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall). Nash and Hall will team against Hawai'i Championship Wrestling regulars Kenjiro Katahira and Kenshin.

Tickets range from $25 to $90. Call (877) 750-4400.

Dueling studios keep Caped Crusaders at bay

Riddle me this, Batman faithful: Have you ever wondered why the Caped Crusaders from the classic '60s TV show haven't put their "BIFF." "BAM" and "BOPs" on the DVD racks?

The July 16 edition of Entertainment Weekly tackled that question and found a battle over ownership rights between Fox Home Entertainment and Warner Bros. Until they reach an agreement, it's "holy idle time" for Batman, Robin and yes, even the original Catwoman.

FINAL WORD

Matt Damon — on why he returned to do the sequel "The Bourne Supremacy," which opens Friday:

"I hadn't been offered a movie in a year because 'The Legend of Bagger Vance' had come out and bombed, and 'All the Pretty Horses' had come out and bombed. The performance at the box office at the end of the day is the controlling factor of whether you're working or not as a leading man in high-end movies."
