Played football in the Hawaii Senior League from 1941 to 1946 and was an end and punter for Hawaiian Warriors from 1947 to 1949. Served as an assistant football coach for Roosevelt and Iolani for 27 years. Survived by wife, Bessie; children, John and Harvalee; two grandchildren sisters, Liz Shyrack and Maria Thurston; nieces and nephews.
