All four Hawai'i golfers, including medalist Mari Chun of Pearl City, were eliminated yesterday in the 56th U.S. Girls' Junior Championships at the 6,256-yard, par-71 Mira Vista Golf Club course in Fort Worth, Texas.

Chun, who will be a senior at Kamehameha Schools in the fall, lost to Stephanie Sherlock of Canada, 2 and 1, in the first round of match play.

Chun, who shot 4-under 138 to share medalist honors with two others, was seeded second. Sherlock, who barely qualified, was the 63rd seed.

Hilo's Amanda Wilson won her first-round match (4 and 3 over Alexandrea Schulte, of Broken Arrow, Okla.), then lost to Marika Lendl, of Goshen, Conn., 2 and 1, in the afternoon.

Stephanie Kono, who will be a freshman at Punahou School, lost to Sooji Cho, of Glendale, Calif., 1-up, and Honolulu's Ayaka Kaneko fell to Megan Grehan, of Mamaroneck, N.Y., 7 and 6.
