Woman, 46, facing charges

A 46-year-old Wahiawa woman is facing charges of terroristic threatening and abusing a household member for allegedly trying to stab her ex-boyfriend while he was moving out of a home the two had shared.

The man, 55, told police his former girlfriend tried to stab him Monday but he knocked the knife out of her hand.

The woman left the home before police arrived. The man called police again yesterday to say his former girlfriend had returned. She was arrested without incident.

Girl arrested in alleged car theft

A 14-year-old Honolulu girl was arrested on suspicion of auto theft yesterday after the van she was driving stalled. A witness, who saw the girl get into the blue van and drive away, notified the van's owner, who called police.

While police were gathering information from the van owner, other officers were sent to respond to a stalled vehicle call on Ke'eaumoku Street and found the stalled van matched the description of the stolen van.

The van's owner was taken to where it had stalled and identified the girl, who was arrested.
