Tonight's Must-See

"The Last Ride," 8 and 10 p.m., USA Network. This high-octane movie needs one of those signs saying "Kids, don't try this at home." Chris Carmack ("The O.C.") plays the handsomely brooding Matt. Nadine Velazquez plays his girlfriend J.J., a mechanic who looks splendid in a white muscle shirt. Matt idealizes his grandfather (Dennis Hopper) and late grandmother, who protested the Vietnam war by stealing military payrolls and driving getaway cars. Now Gramps is getting out of prison — kids, don't steal military payrolls — and revenge is near. The early portions of the film have way too much strident posturing. The entire movie becomes a product placement for Pontiac GTOs. Underneath that, however, is an overdrive adventure that does provide some summer fun.

Of Note

"10 Days to D-Day," 6 and 10 p.m., History Channel. Four days before the 60th anniversary of D-Day, this documentary looks at the invasion's final preparations.

"The Most Outrageous Game Show Moments 5," 7 p.m., NBC. Here are more clips; NBC's been showing them a lot.

"My Wife and Kids," 7 and 7:30 p.m., ABC. Here's two-thirds of the three-parter that sent the family to Hawai'i on vacation.

"The Drew Carey Show," 8 and 8:30 p.m., ABC. After making a two-year commitment to the show, ABC decided it didn't really care about the final season after all. As a result, the show has been on a shelf for a year; now it's finally being shown as a summer series. In tonight's first episode, Drew is matchmaking for his mom. In the second, he gets overzealous at a soccer game.

"Law & Order," 8 and 9 p.m., NBC. In the first rerun, the victim is a grief counselor who claimed he could talk to the dead. In the second, it's a star witness.

"The ULTIMATE Love Test" debut, 9 p.m., ABC. This reality show splits couples apart, sending one person on an exotic date with someone else.
