Gasoline prices keep climbing

Regular gasoline prices in Hilo, Hawai'i, and Wailuku, Maui, hit record highs, according to a survey released today by AAA travel club.

The average price for regular in Hilo rose slightly to $2.376 a gallon, while Wailuku’s average jumped 8.5 cents to $2.669 a gallon.

Statewide the average price for regular was $2.325 a gallon and O'ahu’s average was $2.238 a gallon.
