Pasha shipping to start in 2005

Pasha Hawaii Transport Lines plans for its new vessel to begin transporting automobiles between Hawai'i and California in the first quarter of 2005. The ship with roll on, roll off capacity is 80 percent complete, Pasha said. The company does not yet have Hawai'i shipping contracts with automakers, who are expected to be its primary customers.



Broadband iTV, Oceanic ink deal

Honolulu-based Broadband iTV yesterday announced a five-year agreement to provide interactive TV services to Oceanic Time Warner Cable. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.



Airline offers Vancouver deal

Harmony Airways is offering promotional one-way fares of $230 from Honolulu or $253 from Maui to Vancouver that can be upgraded to round trip for an additional one dollar plus taxes. All travel must be booked by June 22 through the airline's web site for travel through August 28, 2004 from Honolulu and through August 30 from Maui.
