Artist-led summer program offers lessons in creativity

The Koa Gallery at Kapi'olani Community College presents a new educational series, "Center Your Creativity Workshops," from June 14 through July 10.

Nineteen courses and lectures will be offered by 15 working art professionals and visiting artists. Students of all levels are invited to work with creative professionals who will help expand their creative horizons through risk-taking and experimentation. All offerings are aimed to spark creativity in students young and old.

The workshops and presentations by Sheila Kriemelman, Timothy Ojile, Sally French, Kloe Kang, Alan Leitner, David Behlke, Mark Kadota, George Ellis, Lynn Cook, Paul Levittare and others are designed for anyone who wishes to increase awareness, self-expression and enhanced personal productivity in daily life.
