Nakea scored 10 of her game-high 16 points in the first half of a victory over Waipahu that improved Nanakuli's record to 3-1. The Golden Hawks then lost their next seven games, including a four-point loss to Kapolei, a one-point defeat at 'Aiea and a two-point loss to Kalani in the league's Division II semifinals.
But through it all, Nakea averaged 11.2 points per game, including a 20-point effort in the 49-47 loss to Kalani.
Nakea is joined on the first team by senior teammate Kaena Apana, Wai'anae senior Tiare Kealoha-Holbron, Waialua senior Kira Nakasono and Waipahu sophomore Nicole Enos.
Waialua's Michele Sales was named Coach of the Year.
