JESSIE KUBO died Sunday without ever knowing what happened to her Alzheimer's-stricken 80-year-old husband, who failed to return home from a walk on June 23, 2001. She died at Straub Hospital & Clinic, where she had been hospitalized since May 18. She was 80. See story.
