Nancy Reagan invites Sajak

"Wheel of Fortune" host Pat Sajak, in town for rehearsals of "The Honeymooners: The Lost Episodes," will make a quick trip to Simi Valley, Calif., tomorrow night.

Nancy Reagan tracked down Sajak here yesterday and invited him to attend a private ceremony for President Reagan at the Reagan Library tomorrow evening. The game-show host, who is playing Ed Norton opposite Joe Moore's Ralph Kramden, is chartering a plane to make the visit and will miss the first rehearsal at the Hawai'i Theatre as the cast prepares for the June 17-20 run.

The former first lady's call came to Sajak at a practice session yesterday at the Hawai'i Opera Theatre rehearsal hall. Sajak returns Saturday morning — no doubt with details to share with his fellow actors.
