Rabbi MORRIS GOLDFARB, resident scholar of Temple Emanu-El, Hawai'i's largest Jewish temple, died yesterday morning at The Queen's Medical Center. He was 90. "There was a mutual love affair (with Hawai'i's Jewish community)," said Rabbi Avi Magid of Temple Emanu-El. "He and his wife, Helen, adopted the community — and the community, in turn, adopted him." Dr. ELISABETH KEHRER "BETTY" ANDERSON, a former state public health administrator, died Monday at her Punchbowl home after a 10-year battle with Parkinson's disease. She was 77. See story.
