UB40 coming to the Islands

Tickets go on sale tomorrow for UB40, the British group that popularized "Red, Red Wine" and other hits. The band will be in Hawai'i in August for shows on three islands.

On the Big Island: Aug. 17 at the Edith Kanaka'ole Stadium in Hilo. Tickets: $29 advance, $32.50 at the door; available at MJS Music in Hilo, CD Wizard in Hilo, Borders in Hilo and in Kona, Mele Kai Music in Kona and Byrd's Audio in Waimea.

Maui: Aug. 19, A&B Amphitheater, Maui Arts & Cultural Center, Kahului. Tickets: $35 advance, $40 at the door; available at the center box office; charge by phone, (808) 242-7469.
