Weekly Thoughts

We often hear someone say, "I hope the time will come when I shall have no more obstacles." When that time comes, he is ready for the undertaker. Life is a continual struggle to overcome obstacles. Death is merely quitting. The fact that we are not buried is no proof we are alive. There are dead people walking the streets or sitting in offices. They haven't thought a new thought or shown any concern for the welfare of others. Avoiding all obstacles, they follow the line of least resistance.

Thoughts by the late Rev. Paul Osumi are selected weekly by his family.
