• Hawaiian Airlines has appointed Louis Saint-Cyr to the position of vice president of in-flight service. In his new role, Saint-Cyr will be responsible for managing Hawaiian's flight attendants and overseeing the services and products provided by the cabin crews and catering department.
Saint-Cyr joined Hawaiian after spending six years in senior-level positions managing various aspects of in-flight services for Air Canada. Most recently, he served as general manager of cabin crew planning and scheduling, where he had responsibility for 7,000 cabin personnel and a budget of $380 million.
• Castle Resorts & Hotels has selected Sharon McAuliffe as director of e-commerce. McAuliffe recently relocated from San Francisco Bay area where she served as director of e.distribution for the Pacific Valley Investors Hotel Group. Prior to her job at PVI Hotel Group, she was employed by WorldRes Inc. and American Hawaii Cruises. In her new position, she will be responsible for managing and coordinating sales and marketing for all electronic distribution channels, including Castle's Web site.
• Ralph Mesick has been promoted to executive vice president and manager of the commercial real estate loan division of Bank of Hawaii. He was previously senior vice president. Mesick oversees lending activities to real estate developers and investors throughout the state of Hawai'i. He is also responsible for coordinating sales and servicing for the division. He has held a number of management positions during his more than 15 years at Bank of Hawaii including positions as corporate banker and real estate lender.
• Phillip Rellinger was promoted to senior vice president at Bank of Hawaii. He continues as president of Triad Insurance Agency, Inc., a subsidiary of Bank of Hawaii, where he continues to oversee the strategic direction of the agency and its overall business development. Rellinger joined Triad Insurance Agency in 1995 as a manager for property insurance and specialty lines. Since then, he has served in a number of senior management positions, including his recent promotion to president in 2003. Prior to joining the agency, Rellinger worked for several prominent insurance companies in Honolulu and Vancouver, B.C.
• Jeffrey Nurre has joined Bank of Hawaii as senior vice president and manager of retail credit. In this position, he will assist in developing and revising credit policies to identify opportunities for growth while minimizing the credit risk for the bank. Prior to joining Bank of Hawaii, Nurre served as a director in the global consumer group, credit risk management, management information systems and reporting for Citigroup in New York. He has worked for a number of prominent financial companies across the U.S., including Chevy Chase in Chevy Chase, Md. and Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco.
• Adam Kimberly has joined Alexander & Baldwin Inc. as director, corporate development and planning. In this new position, he will report to A&B's vice president and chief financial officer, Christopher Benjamin. Kimberly will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and recommending investment opportunities for the company, in addition to managing business development projects. Previously, Kimberly was senior vice president, finance and strategic development for netLibrary, Inc., a software company based in Boulder, Colo. • Lisa Lee-Alerman has joined Hawaii Commercial Real Estate as an office building leasing and sales specialist. In addition to negotiating leases for office building tenants and assisting buyers and sellers of investment properties, Lee-Alerman will be responsible for Hawaii Commercial Real Estate's newest for-lease listing, ANA Kalakaua Center. She has a background in sales from several industries in Hawai'i and California.
