The Who coming to Honolulu

Long live rock! National concert Web site Pollstar is listing a Blaisdell Arena show for British rock legends The Who on Aug. 3. A local concert industry source confirmed the date and venue but offered no further details.Currently touring select worldwide cities after years off the road, The Who's Honolulu concert will follow shows in Japan and Australia. Guitarist/vocalist Pete Townshend, 59, and lead vocalist Roger Daltrey, 60, are The Who's only remaining founding members.
The tour's backing lineup features drummer Zak Starkey (Ringo Starr's son), bassist Pino Palladino, keyboardist John "Rabbit" Bundrick and guitarist Simon Townshend (Pete's brother). More information to come.
