Tag no. 220. Here's a great dog for an active family with kids and other pets. Pogi is a 2-year-old pit-bull mix who is sweet and friendly with kids, other dogs and even cats. He is already neutered and ready to be adopted today.

Tag no. 49. This female shepherd/-husky mix is being called Sierra. She was found on June 10 and remains unclaimed at the humane society. If you have lost this 2-year-old tan-and-black dog, please visit the shelter to claim her.

These particular animals already may have found homes. The Hawaiian Humane Society and McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. are open noon to 8 p.m. weekdays; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends.
