City Managing Director Ben Lee, as well as officials of key city and state departments, will take part Wednesday in a panel discussion of issues raised in the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii Project JOBS annual report. Panelists will also include Ted Liu, director of the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism; Rodney Haraga, director of the state Department of Transportation; Frank Doyle, city environmental services director; Donna Kiyosaki, city Board of Water Supply deputy director; and Tim Steinberger, city director of design and construction. Topics will include business-government partnerships, and the public infrastructure of airports, harbors, roads, sewers and water.
