• Sen. Dan Inouye's financial assets include up to $1 million in stock in Central Pacific Financial Corp., according to a 2003 financial report filed this month. A Local News story posted Saturday incorrectly said the senator owned up to $1 million in stock in Campbell Soup Company.

• A photo with a Local News story posted yesterday showed balloons bearing messages of thanks to former University of Hawai'i President Evan Dobelle on the grounds of College Hill, the president's home. The photo caption incorrectly said the balloons were on campus.

• Hawai'i's new gift certificate and gift card law takes effect July 1, 2005. A Local News story posted yesterday gave the wrong date.
