Bradfrey Garrett Ashley III of Kapolei celebrated his first birthday on June 12 at a lu'au at the Bishop Museum Atherton Halau hosted by his parents, Jessica and Bradfrey Ashley Jr., and his sisters, Jada-Lyric and Journey-Bleu. Bradfrey III was born May 11, 2003.

Jett Shinobu Ishii of Mililani celebrated his first birthday on May 8 at a dinner party at his home hosted by his parents, Tracy and Jason Ishii, and his brothers Jarrick and Tyler. Jett was born May 3, 2003.
