ISLAND LIFE SHORTS
'Play'd,' shot on O'ahu, may be controversial yet fun

Advertiser Staff

"All our footage was shot on O'ahu and the people are local residents," said Ian Fernandez, the show's producer. "I think it's going to be a little controversial for some people, but it's going to be fun to watch. The concept was to test the limits of what's acceptable in a relationship. We did. It's better than the shows from the Mainland."

"Play'd" debuts at 11 p.m. on KFVE.

Final word

Prince, talking about why music piracy, downloading songs for free on the Internet, doesn't bother him:

"If I was only getting a few pennies off every album, I'd be worried. But I get $7 a pop for every album that sells for $10. That's enough."
