Feds indict two in airport fraud investigation

Advertiser Staff Writer

A federal grand jury this afternoon indicted two O'ahu contractors in connection with the long-running fraud investigation at Honolulu International Airport involving "small contract" awards.

Charged were Michael Furukawa and Wesley Uemura. Both were charged with conspiracy to defraud and 32 counts of mail fraud.
