Scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 55-44 victory over Kamehameha in the state quarterfinals, then had 14 points, including four 3-pointers in the first half, in the Mustangs' 64-54 loss to Iolani in the championship game.

RYAN HIRATA

Iolani

Scored 16 points in a 63-41 victory over Kaimuki in the state tournament quarterfinals, had 15 points in a 71-45 semifinal win over Mililani, then had 10 points in a 64-54 victory over Kalaheo in the championship game.

DERRICK LOW

Iolani

Scored 12 points and had five assists in a 63-41 victory over Kaimuki in the state tournament quarterfinals, had 12 points and seven assists in a 71-45 semifinal win over Mililani, then scored a game-high 24 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out three assists in a 64-54 victory over Kalaheo in the championship game.

JEREMY MANUEL

Waimea

Scored 18 points in a 48-46 loss to Kaimuki in the first round of the state tournament.

Abe McGrew

Waiakea

Scored 11 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a 68-64 first-round loss in the state tournament, then had 15 points and 10 rebounds in a 66-65 loss to McKinley.

JIMMY MIYASAKA

Kaimuki

Scored 17 points, grabbed eight rebounds and came up with a key defensive play at the end to help the Bulldogs defeat Waimea, 48-46, in a state tournament first-round game.

JEREMIAH OSTROWSKI

Punahou

Scored 15 points and dished out five assists in a 68-64 victory over Waiakea in a state tournament first-round game, had 21 points in a 74-55 quarterfinal win over Maui, poured in 24 points in a 62-43 semifinal loss to Kalaheo and had 26 points to help the Buffanblu defeat Mililani, 56-47, for third place.

Scored 26 points and had four assists in a 67-56 victory over Baldwin in a state tournament first-round game, then had 19 points and six rebounds in a 72-62 quarterfinal win over Kealakehe.

WAIKA SPENCER

Kamehameha

Scored a game-high 20 points in a 53-44 victory over Maui in the state tournament consolation round.

KYLE TEVES

Kealakehe

Scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in a 72-62 loss to Mililani in the first round of the state tournament.

McKinley

Scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 66-65 victory over Waiakea in the state tournament consolation round.

Scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in a 55-44 victory over Kamehameha in the state tournament quarterfinals, bhad 20 points and 13 rebounds in a 62-43 semifinal win over Punahou, and 17 points and 14 rebounds in a 64-54 loss to Iolani in the championship game.

Won his second straight state championship in 1-meter diving with a score of 484.50 points, breaking the mark of 439.65 he set last year.

GIRLS DIVING

ALEIA MONDEN

St. Andrew's

Won her second straight state championship in 1-meter diving with a score of 471.65 points, breaking the mark of 452.40 set by Sandra Serai of University High in 1983.

BOYS SWIMMING

ED AFUALO

Kapolei

Won his fourth state championship in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 58.91 seconds.

MARK ECKERT

Iolani

Set a state championship meet record in the 100 backstroke with a time of 49.79 seconds and won the 200 individual medley in 1 minute, 50.13 seconds.

NOA SAKAMOTO

Punahou

Won the 200 free with a time of 1 minute, 41.08 seconds, the 500 free in 40.20 seconds and was part of the Buffanblu's winning 200 medley relay team (1:38.00) at the state championship meet.

RANDALL TOM

Seabury Hall

Won the 50 free with a time of 21.03 seconds and the 100 fly in 49.43 seconds at the state championship meet.

GIRLS SWIMMING

BRITTANY BEAUCHAN

Kalaheo

Freshman won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1 minute, 6.27 seconds at the state championship meet and helped the five-member Mustangs team take second overall, their highest finish yet.

MEREDITH EGLORIA

Kapolei

Won the 50 free with a time of 24.00 seconds and the 100 free in 52.96 seconds.

CHELSEA NAGATA

Maui

Won the 100 fly with a time of 55.24 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 58.08 seconds at the state championship meet.
