• "The Dream on Royal Street," a student production based on Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," is a musical that takes place in contemporary New Orleans during Mardi Gras.

7 p.m. today and Saturday at St. Francis School Auditorium in Manoa. Tickets are $5 general, $3 children. 988-4111.

7 p.m. today and Saturday at Leeward Community College Theatre. Tickets are $5, at the school office, 94-651 Farrington Highway, 677-4475.

• "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," the musical based on the beloved Charles Schulz "Peanuts" characters, is presented by the McKinley Theatre Group II. This show, featuring 11 students, has been updated a bit and is sure to please kids of all ages. Directed by James A. Nakamoto, assisted by John V. Newkirk.

"Rosamund," a dark fairy tale set in medieval England, and "Necropolis," a contemporary drama that takes place in the war-torn Middle East, explore different views of love and desire. The show is directed by M A Richard, a graduate student in Asian directing. Be on time, theater-goers: Latecomers will not be admitted once the show has begun.
