SANTIAGO MADRIAGA BOLOSAN, 78, of Kihei, Maui, died Feb. 24, 2004. Born in the Philippines. A maintenance worker. Survived by wife, Feliciana; children, Leon, Magdaleno Jr., Romeo, Ligaya Dela Cruz, Oscar, Linda, Eugenio, Emmanuel and Emely Ramones; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Ballard Family Mortuary, service 7 p.m. Visitation also 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the mortuary, service 10 a.m.; burial 10:30 a.m. at Maui Memorial Park; luncheon 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the mortuary's dining facility. VELMA K. CAYCAYON, 68, of Hanama'ulu, Kaua'i, died March 4, 2004. Born in Honolulu. Worked in sales. Survived by husband, Patricio; sons, Gerald Ganaban, Roger Ganaban, and Patrick "Skip" and Jerry "Sonny" Caycayon; daughters, Linda Miles, Ruth Caycayon-Potts, Patricia Caycayon and Ardella Arrington; father, Jacob Kaleikini Sr.; brothers and sisters, Alfred Franco, Emma Ernestburg, Jacob Kaleikini Jr., Kuuipoaloha Hurst, Violet Hawkins, James Young and Hope Kaleikini; 22 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Visitation 9 a.m. Monday at the Lihue Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, service 11 a.m.; burial at Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe. Casual attire. Arrangements by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.

YUEN LOONG CHANG, 73, of Honolulu, died Feb. 20, 2004. Born in China. A retired cook. Survived by wife, Yuk Choi Chiang Chang; daughters, Wai Ling, Wai Gin and Wai Lan; sons, Yao Guang Zheng, Jack Man and Nelson; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Taoist service 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary, burial 12:30 p.m. at Manoa Cemetery.

NEDRA WALTON COOK, 90, of Honolulu, died Feb. 28, 2004. Born in Portland, Ore. Survived by son, Loren; daughter, Candace Rigsby; five grandchildren. No local service. Arrangements by Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple, Texas.

CLARA THURSTON DWIGHT, 96, of Honolulu, died Aug. 25, 2003. Widow of James Adams Dwight Jr. and sister of the late Lucy Thurston Blaisdell. Survived by children, Vera McPherson and Beverly Dwight; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Service held. Burial at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.

HATSUNO "BETTY" IHA, 88, of Honolulu, died Feb. 26, 2004. Born in Wai'anae. Owner/operator of Dinette Restaurants. Survived by sons, Larry, James and Christopher; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Oshiro; sisters, Dorothy Terukina, Evelyn Miyashiro and Helen Blaisdell. Visitation 9:30 a.m. Monday at Mililani Memorial Park mauka chapel, service 10:30 a.m.; inurnment 11:30 a.m. at the memorial park. No flowers. Casual attire.

JANE MASAKO KAJIWARA, 79, of Honolulu, died March 2, 2004. Born in Kealakekua, Hawai'i. Retired as a secretary at the University of Hawai'i. Survived by husband, Larry; sons, Gary, Robert and Leslie; daughter, Aileen Nagaoka; eight grandchildren; brothers, Yutaka and Nobuo Matsui; sisters, Violet Hirata and Matsuko Kodama. ALFRED TEN LAM, 97, of Kailua, died Feb. 26, 2004. Born in Kane'ohe. A retired federal electrician. Survived by sons, Harold LaPearl and Albert "Buddy" Lam; daughter, Daphne Niau; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service noon; burial to follow at the memorial park.

LUCILLE "LU" GENE NELSON, 75, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died Feb. 29, 2004. Born in California. An artist. Survived by son, Charles Pruitt; sisters, Lora Sanchez and Loretta Monson; brother, Edward Turnbow; hanai sister, Diane Molarius; hanai brother, Dr. Dana Dafnis.
