Leaving home at prom time

High-school proms are traditionally an important bonding experience for mothers and daughters. But with many military women deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, some will be separated this year. Similarly, fathers who will be away from home while their sons attend prom may miss the opportunity to give advice on this important day.

The Advertiser would like to talk to high-school-age youth and parents who will be deployed at the time of their son's or daughter's prom.
