Not feeling up to speed?

Two of Hawai'i's top conditioning coaches — Mel deLaura and Rich Miano — have announced this year's schedule of Hawai'i Speed & Quickness clinics.

The clinics are open to athletes 7 and older. The $10 registration fee includes two hours of training at the University of Hawai'i and coupons for sandwiches and juice. Scholarships are available.

DeLaura has trained former UH football players Ashley Lelie, Travis LaBoy and Isa'ako "Isaac" Sopoaga. Miano, a former football standout at UH, played 11 seasons in the National Football League.

For registration information, call 671-3812.
