S. King St. to be repaved at night

Advertiser Staff

Three lanes of S. King Street will be closed for night repaving work starting late this month, city officials said yesterday.

The work, which will begin about March 29 and continue for six weeks, is a continuation of the city's emergency road resurfacing program.

During the S. King Street work between South and McCully streets, a contractor will remove the existing pavement and resurface the street with a new "Super Pave" asphalt product.

All the work will be done between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., officials said.
