SoShawna Foster, daughter of Anna Foster of Keller, Texas, and the late Oscar Foster, and Elton Gray, son of Nancy Matlack of Twentynine Palms, Calif., and nephew of Malcolm and Amy Ching of Mililani, announce their engagement. The wedding will be April 17 in Honolulu.

Crista Lynn Guieb Inouye of Waikele celebrated her first birthday Feb. 22 at a luncheon at the Hawaii Okinawa Center in Waipi'o hosted by her parents, Ross and Carol Inouye, and sister Shanna. Crista was born Feb. 1, 2003.
