• The island of Kaua'i produces more than half of the state's taro crop, including the yield of Ernest Haraguchi's Hanalei farm, which is the largest in the state. A Local News story posted yesterday included incorrect information.

• Margo Goodwill is the artist who created the mural "Waving Palms" on the side of The Wave nightclub in Waikiki. The name of the artist and the title of the mural were incorrect in an Island Life story posted Monday.

• A bill that prohibits smoking by employees in public schools, public school transports and school-sponsored functions remains alive as House Bill 2871, House Draft 2. Also alive is House Bill 267, House Draft 2, which transfers the Office of Elections, Elections Appointment and Review Panel, and the Campaign Spending Commission, from the Department of Accounting and General Services to the Judiciary for administrative purposes. A list that ran Sunday incorrectly said both bills were failing at the Legislature.
