UH NIT game to be broadcast live Monday

The University of Hawai'i’s second round National Invitation Tournament basketball game will be shown live on Oceanic Cablevision channel 16 (160 digital) Monday night, the school announced today.

UH will play the winner of tonight’s Nebraska-Niagara Monday at 6 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.

As of this morning, about 9,000 tickets had been sold for the 10,300-seat arena, according to an athletic department spokesperson.

Tickets may be purchased online through etickethawaii.com or at the SSC box office ( 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday). Tickets are priced from $7 to $18.

The game will be retelecast at 9 p.m. Monday night.
