HAROLD VICTOR "HAL" FRAZIER, a noted engineer whose dredging crews provided assistance in the aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor, died March 15. He was 91. See story.

BERNABE "BEN" CRISTOBAL DE LA CRUZ SR., 90, of Pearl City, died March 14, 2004. Born in Gatiaran, Cagayan, Philippines. Retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer. Survived by wife, Rita; son, Bernabe "Ben"; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. HANNAH KAHAWAII KAILI, 78, died March 18, 2004. Born in Kalihi Kai, Kaua'i. A Gay & Robinson laborer, and hotel housekeeping employee. Survived by daughter, Dora; son, Harrom; sisters, Harriet Malapit and Louisa Tachikawa; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
