How Hawai'i hotels are faring

Maui hotels recorded an impressive 86.0 percent occupancy at an average daily rate of $219.25 for the week ended March 20, according to the latest weekly hotel report released by Hospitality Advisors LLC. Statewide occupancy enjoyed an 8.4 percent increase to 80.9 percent, while room rates rose by 6.6 percent to $174.06 as all islands showed growth in occupancy and average daily rate for the week.
