Tonight's Must-See
"Life with Bonnie," 8:30 p.m., ABC. A return visit by Jonathan Winters gives Bonnie Hunt another chance to interact with a master of improvisation. Hunt plays the host of a daytime TV talk show; the interview portions are often improvised. Tonight, Winters plays an author with several personalities. And David brings his anger-management group to Bonnie's house.
Of Note
Basketball, 2 p.m., CBS. Here's a double-header (varying by region) in the NCAA tournament. By the end of the night, the tourney will be down to eight teams. By Sunday night it will have its final four and people will be terribly excited.
"Garbo Talks" (1984), 7 p.m., Pax. A dying woman, played by Anne Bancroft, wants to meet Greta Garbo, the shy former movie star. Her son (Ron Silver) starts the search. Director Sidney Lumet filled the movie with New York flavor and such supporting actors as Harvey Fierstein, Hermione Gingold and Carrie Fisher.
"The George Lopez Show," 7 p.m., ABC. George wants to teach his son to box. Laila Ali (a boxer and the daughter of Muhammad Ali) has a guest role.
"Wonderfalls," 8 p.m., Fox. Jaye the cynical young woman who doesn't want to get involved tries to help someone who was hiding in the bar.
"The D.A.," 9 p.m., ABC. In last week's opener we learned that staffers in the office of the district attorney (Steven Weber) are secretly working for his election opponent. Now he fears that a high-profile case will hurt his re-election. He gropes for a plea bargain.
