Tonight's Must-See

"Nashville Star" finale, 10 p.m., USA Network. This second season has been a good one for male singers. Three head into tonight's finale. George Canyon, 33, is from Nova Scotia and has a jutting jaw and a heroic look. Judges have compared him to Buzz Lightyear, the cartoon character; he has a voice to match. Brad Cotter, 33, is a preacher's son from Auburn, Ala. His look — short and boyish — masks a strong voice and an impressive songwriting talent. Matt Lindahl, 29, is from Snellville, Ga. He's the wild card here, given to coveralls, a washboard and goofy fun. The votes have already been counted, so this hour is just for fun. LeAnn Rimes sings and all 11 finalists get one more time on stage. Then we'll learn who has won a record deal.

Of Note

"Remember the Titans" (2000), 7 p.m., ABC. Another airing of this popular film, based on a true story. Denzel Washington plays a black football coach hired by a Virginia high school that had been dominated by whites.

"Twister" (1996), 7 p.m., NBC. Tornadoes and special effects stir up lots of action in this film, which sort of proves that cows can fly.

"I'll Be Seeing You," 8 p.m., Pax. This workmanlike movie adapts a Mary Higgins Clark tale. Alison Eastwood, who was so good in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" (directed by her dad, Clint) is fine here. She plays a sturdy rancher, trying to decide if her father really died and if the ranch can be saved.

"The District," 8 and 9 p.m., CBS. In the first episode, Noland (Roger Aaron Brown) is wounded, in retaliation for the gang crackdown. Then comes the season finale. It includes the murders of two young women; meanwhile Mannion's daughter prepares for her wedding.

"Saturday Night Live," 10:30 p.m., NBC. It's a new episode, with Lindsay Lohan hosting and Usher as the musical guest.
