Tuesday talk to look at art, finances

Advertiser Staff

Hawai'i Craftsmen's First Tuesday programs begin Tuesday.

These programs are a service to the arts community and will explore topics that are of interest to artists and anyone interested in arts. This First Tuesday will feature a two-hour program led by Ron Kent titled "Practical Finances for Impractical People."

Kent, a successful artist, has a financial background and has given workshops on this topic here and on the Mainland. He plans to cover the often-asked questions about pricing art and dealing with galleries.

The program, which begins at 6 p.m., is free. It will be held at the ARTS at Marks Garage, 1159 Nu'uanu Ave. For more information, call Kent at 263-6658.
