Weddings

Rowena Acoba, daughter of Roy and Nelida Acoba of Waipahu, and Sherwood Edeleon Yago, son of Rosita Yago of Waipahu and the late Camilo Yago, were married Sept. 21 at the Halekulani hotel, where the reception followed. The bride (1993 Waipahu High), now Rowena Acoba Yago, is an office assistant and in sales. The groom (1993 Waipahu High/1998 Leeward Community College associate) is a cook. The couple live in Waipahu.

DeZiree K. Hardy-Rangasan, daughter of Edward Leroy Rangasan and Patricia Marie Hardy, and Carlos Jayson Pucan III, son of Carlos Castro Pucan Jr. and Pacita Badua Pucan, were married Feb. 12 in Honolulu. The bride, formerly of Kailua, Kona, Big Island, is now Deziree K. Pucan. The groom is a cabinet maker. The couple live with their infant son, Austyn Pi'i Kela Pucan, in Honolulu.
