Servco buys stake in Nippon

Servco Pacific Inc. said it has bought a minority interest in the Hawai'i-based Japanese language television and cable network Nippon Golden Network Inc.

Servco's business is focused on automotive sales and service with other investments in Hawai'i, California, Guam and Saipan.

Maui firm has 3 new directors

Maui Land & Pineapple Co. Inc. elected three new directors to its board, the company announced.

They are Thomas Gottlieb, chairman and founder of Mandara Spa; Kent Lucien, CEO of operations for C. Brewer & Co. Ltd. & Subsidiaries; and Duncan MacNaughton, board chairman of The MacNaughton Group/Poseiden Properties Inc.
