BUSINESS BRIEFS
Aloha padding Oakland route

Advertiser Staff and News Services

Aloha Airlines plans to add a second daily nonstop flight between Oakland, Calif., and Honolulu starting July 2. The airline also said it will offer seasonal daily nonstop service between Lihu'e, Kauai, and Oakland from June 17 through September.

Aloha said it will use two Boeing 737-300 airplanes it ordered for flights it hoped to operate to Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. That request was denied last month.

Credit unions on ATM network

Twenty-seven credit unions in Hawai'i and Guam have joined the CO-OP Network, a national credit union ATM network.

These financial institutions, which include Hickam FCU and Hawaii Schools FCU, are part of WesCorp, a San Dimas, Calif.-based financial services cooperative.

As part of CO-OP, credit union customers can access 18,000 ATMs nationwide free of surcharges.
