HOLES IN ONE
Ng gets double eagle into wind

DONALD NG
March 20
'Ewa Villages
Hole No. 17, 499 yards, Par-5, driver, 4-iron

By Eric Heu

Donald Ng, with his powerful drives, is the most likely golfer in our Saturday group to get a double eagle.

Playing in a group of six, we all try to hit the ball and move quickly to get out of each other's path. Sometimes we don't even know who has just hit and where their ball ends up.

Hitting against the wind on No. 17, Ng felt he had made a pretty good second shot, but he didn't see where his ball went.

He asked those close to the green if they had seen his ball, and everyone said no.

Then Ng went to the hole and saw his ball sitting in the cup for a double eagle. We all congratulated him on his shot.
