Joe Passero's first trip to Hawai'i proved memorable when the Silver Spring, Md., resident, left, reeled in a 9ý-foot, 250-pound blue marlin while fishing with his cousin, Tony Ambrosi on the boat Live Bait out of Wai'anae. "Me and him have been fishing our whole lives out in Chesapeake Bay (Md.)," says Ambrosi, who lives in Hawai'i Kai. It took Passero 40 minutes to bring the fish on board.
