O'ahu gasoline price hits record high

The average price for gasoline reached a record $2.103 a gallon on O'ahu today, according to AAA travel club. That’s nearly 13 cents above a year ago.In Wailuku, Maui, the average price of $2.429 a gallon was a penny below a high reached on Wednesday.
Statewide the average price for regular stood at $2.192 a gallon, which was fractionally lower than a high of $2.193 a gallon hit Friday.
