Tonight's Must-See

"The Restaurant," 9 p.m., NBC. Who would have guessed that firing people would become prime-time entertainment? Blame NBC and the energy of New York City. "The Apprentice" was built around firings. Now "The Restaurant" has some odd ones. In the previous episode a 20-year-old intern was told to stay out of the way. Instead, he tended bar (even though he is underage) and called co-owner Rocco DiSpirito a negative name within earshot; he was fired.

Tonight, a waitress and greeter is falsely accused of drinking on the job. She makes an emphatic exit. Also, in this slick, edited reality hour, DiSpirito perks his spirits by visiting the CIA (Culinary Institute of America), his alma mater. He doesn't realize co-owner Jeffery Chodorow is interviewing chefs to replace him.

Of Note

"A Wrinkle in Time," 7 p.m., ABC. On the night after it aired the first "Harry Potter" movie, ABC visits a Madeleine L'Engle novel that preceded Potter with some similarities. Again, we see a smart and sensitive kid who was mistreated then becomes wrapped up in a fantastical existence. Katie Stuart stars as a girl visiting alternate worlds with her brother as they search for their dad. Grown-up co-stars include Alfre Woodard, Kate Nelligan, Kyle Secor and Alison Elliott.

"Yes, Dear," 7 p.m., CBS. Both couples head to a therapist.

"Everybody Loves Raymond," 8 p.m., CBS. An agent is convinced that Robert should be a model.

"Las Vegas," 8 p.m., NBC. A grouchy gambler has a bomb strapped to him. Meanwhile, Everlast (playing himself) plans a private concert.

"CSI: Miami," 9 p.m., CBS. A rapper (played by Xzibit) might be a murder target.
