Detonation of bombs delayed

The Army has decided to delay the detonation of unexploded ordnance, including a 1,000-pound bomb, in Makua Military Reservation on the Wai'anae Coast.

The detonation was originally scheduled for today, but was called off by U.S. Army Garrison Hawai'i commander Col. David Anderson because of "technical and logistic considerations."

A new detonation date has not been determined.
