Gasoline price hits another record high

Honolulu’s average price for regular gasoline hit another record today at $2.112 a gallon, according to the AAA travel club.

That’s 13.8 cents above the year-ago average.

Hawai'i’s statewide average dipped to $2.177 a gallon for regular, up by 12.9 cents from a year ago.

In Wailuku, Maui, drivers paid an average of $2.419 a gallon, which was up 15.3 cents from last year’s price.

Hilo’s average stood at $2.234 a gallon, up 11.3 cents from a year ago.
