How Hawai'i hotels are faring

Driven by a 17.6 percent growth in statewide visitor arrivals, hotel occupancy increased by 9.3 percent to 69.3 percent as all islands had increases in occupancy for the week ended May 8, according to Hospitality Advisors LLC. The statewide average daily rate also rose by 4.8 percent to $162.53.
